CantexCantex
Cantex is a Canton-native automated market maker for spot trading, built by CaviarNine. Orders are signed and submitted off-chain — the site puts that step at 5 to 10 milliseconds — and each trade then settles on Canton atomically in a single on-ledger transaction, which the interface says takes around 10 to 15 seconds end to end; because both legs move in one transaction there is no failed-leg exposure and nothing to reconcile afterwards.
Liquidity is pooled. It is self-custodial: funds sit in the user's own Canton account and only the user's keys can move them, and Canton's need-to-know data model means balances and trades are shared only with the parties to them, never broadcast to the network. A public SDK is offered for programmatic and automated trading. The interface shown on the site quotes a CC/USDCx pair.
The site sets out the stack around it: CaviarNine builds the platform and the matching engine, Canton is the settlement layer, BitSafe is the custody partner for key infrastructure, and Digital Asset handles venue integration and liquidity routing.
